iowa state fair!

until this past saturday, i had never been to the iowa state fair.  HOW COULD I CALL MYSELF A TRUE IOWAN?!  i was ashamed. 
well, my lack of fair-going was remedied and i had a blast.  i petted a cow, lots of goats, some sheep, some bunnies, a camel, an albino burmese python, and a kangaroo (which was really soft).

shot these from a moving car as my boyfriend and i made our way to lake okoboji, iowa, on august 13.  these were taken somewhere around waterloo, ia, i believe.  watch for them to hit my etsy store if you’re interested in purchasing a print!
