Experience
I am a self-taught photographer. I did not formally train in photography nor receive a degree in photography or art.
I have photographed several weddings in the Iowa City / Coralville / North Liberty area since 2006. While I have only a small selection of my wedding photos currentlyavailable for viewing, I can provide additional photos upon request.
I have also provided clients with photographs on such topics as senior portraiture, pet portraiture, pregnancy photos, and sporting event coverage.
Achievements
2009
- Two of my Bonnaroo Music Festival photos were published in the XX 2009 issue of Giant Magazine. View the photos here and here.

2008
- Little Village
I published an article in Little Village Magazine, an independent arts and culture magazine reporting on the Iowa City area. The article contained several photos I shot at the Macbride Raptor Project in Solon, Iowa, where I volunteer. Some highlights:
- EARS
I was deployed with the Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) to assist with temporary sheltering for displaced animals during the flood of 2008 in Cedar Rapids, IA. My job while on site was to write daily blogs and provide photos for the United Animal Nations / EARS websites. View my photo set on Flickr here. Some highlights:
